This depends primarily on what type of software you are using. Most of today’s software usually offer the capability to export data from the program. There is a good chance that you will be able to use your existing data rather then having to duplicate your data. We take each client on a case-by-case basis to determine how much of the data can be used in a new application.

If you data is currently residing in Microsoft Excel, then there is an excellent chance that the data can be imported into a new application. Exporting existing data from your current software and having it imported into your new application is the ideal scenario because it reduces the amount of time needed to convert the data and it also minimizes data entry errors.
